Best Superhero Movies of 2018
1.) Black Panther
The unequivocal blockbuster of the year is Black Panther, hands down. Black Panther was released on February 16, 2018. By April 20, it had bigger box office numbers than Iron Man plus two other superhero movies combined, those being Thor and Captain America. It’s both a fantastic movie and a record-crushing success. - It’s the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time.
- Opening weekend for Black Panther was the fifth highest in history.

2.) The Incredibles 2
The Incredibles 2 opened on June 15, 2018, and broke the record to become the best debut of all time for an animated film. The superhero sequel also ranks as the best debut ever for a film rated PG. This delightful animated movie is one of the rare sequels that lives up to the original. It reminds us what superhero movies are capable of and yet remains light-hearted fare that goes perfectly with popcorn and a soda.
3.) Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Infinity War features nearly every hero in the Marvel comics world. The movie provides a remarkably authentic film version of a crossover event in comic books, tying multiple ongoing comics together under a new title. Each of the superheroes stays true to character, and the movie keeps the fun going from beginning to end.
4.) Deadpool 2
Deadpool 2 hit the theatres on May 18, to the delight of a large cult following. Full of gore and gleeful gags, this lampoon of the genre of superheroes is nicely buoyed by the unquestionable charm of Ryan Reynolds. Very much for adults only, the bombastic film provides a larger-scale experience than the successful original.
5.) Ant-Man and the Wasp
A Walt Disney Pictures movie coming to theatres on July 6, 2018, Ant-Man and The Wasp continues the story of Ant-Man, from where it left of in Captain America: Civil War. Paul Rudd struggles with balancing responsibilities at home with those of being Ant-Man. He is joined by The Wasp as they go on a mission to uncover past secrets. It is a Comedy, Action & Adventure, Fantasy, and Science Fiction flick.
